Ian is an experienced Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) with over 30 years’ experience in internal audit, risk management, governance and compliance framework development, assurance programs and the facilitation of workshops to develop positive business outcomes to enable organisations to fully understand their business operations.
Ian has combined his risk management skills to identify high risk areas of a business to assist in the development of three-year audit plans for assurance purposes.
Ian is a respected risk management subject matter expert and has worked in senior roles with organisations such as, TransGrid, Bridge Business College and Kincoppal-Rose Bay to deliver ISO 31000 risk management frameworks and implementation plans from inception. He has presented at conferences in Australia for the Institute of Internal Auditors and CPA Australia.
Ian, as founding member, established and developed a School network for Risk & Governance professionals. He has also established a partnership with the Governance Institute of Australia to run functions for Risk & Governance professionals.
Ian is passionate about assisting organisations to implement and deliver their corporate strategies and objectives.
