Since arriving in Australia in 2013, Craig has worked with major consulting firms and Commonwealth Bank of Australia in senior and executive investigative/leadership roles. He has led, planned, managed and conducted investigations ranging from basic and low-level to complex and sensitive into areas such as workplace misconduct, fraud, policy breaches, whistleblowing and more.
Craig began his investigative career in the South African Police Force (SAPF), rising to the rank of Detective Sergeant and becoming a founding member of the Child Protection Unit (CPU). After the CPU, Craig was attached to the Specialised Commercial Crime Unit where he investigated serious white-collar crime. Following his nine years in the SAPF, Craig spent 12 years as an investigator, senior manager and director/shareholder of forensic accounting and investigative companies. In the final three years before migrating from South Africa, he was a contractor to five forensic and investigation companies.
Craig has undertaken investigations across the public (local, state and national levels), private and not-for-profit sectors, across a multitude of industries in different jurisdictions.
