Christopher Puschak

Probity & Governance

Christopher Puschak is a highly regarded governance and risk management professional with over 25 years of experience delivering procurement advisory, probity assurance, internal audit and risk management services to the Commonwealth, state and local governments.

Chris’ probity experience includes supporting the Commonwealth Government $1.5 billion grant program, $20-500 million ICT procurements and $20-$50 million medical and pharmaceutical procurement activities. He has supported local government infrastructure programs valued between $20-$150 million.

As an internal auditor and risk manager Chris formerly led the internal audit function at Medibank Private and was a senior member of the Airservices Australia internal audit team, recognised in both organisations for his contributions to good governance and regulator relationships.

Chris is regularly invited to deliver conference papers and training on behalf professional associations and commercial conference providers, as keynote speaker both overseas and across Australia. He has also delivered training on governance, risk and assurance topics across the globe. He is a former ACT Chapter Chair of the IIA and currently a Non-Executive Director for IIA-Australia and a member of the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee for the Australian Lutheran College.
