Liz is an accomplished leader with deep expertise in local governance, sustainability and organisational resilience. With over 30 years' experience as a senior executive across metropolitan, regional and rural councils, she brings proven capability in steering complex organisations through transformation and crisis. Liz is passionate about advancing sustainability and resilience, integrating ESG frameworks into local government operations, and helping organisations meaningfully engage with their communities. She serves as chair, deputy chair and independent member of Audit, Risk and Improvement Committees across NSW councils and authorities, and brings hands-on insights into workplace investigations and Code of Conduct matters, having worked on both sides of the process. Liz is a highly regarded facilitator and mentor with extensive functional knowledge and expertise in local government operations, organisational strategy, policy development and regulatory compliance.
