Lesley Furneaux-Cook has extensive experience working in Local Government and leadership development, being a Councillor with over 20 years experience. Lesley was a Director at Local Government NSW for seven years, and was nominated by Burwood Council as one of the six most influential women for International Women’s Day 2022. Lesley is a highly experienced leadership trainer, having worked as the Leadership Manager for a not-for-profit organisation for over ten years. She runs a community leadership program targeting emerging leaders from the community sector in NSW which focuses on coaching for performance, leadership and neuroscience, and adaptive leadership.
