Peter is a specialist in the provision of advice on corporate governance including enterprise risk management, procurement management, probity and ethical practice. He has worked across government (Queensland and NSW Public Sector), university/higher education, and the not-for-profit sector, with a strong background working in education, health and infrastructure.
Peter was initially qualified as a Chartered Professional Engineer with significant procurement experience in facilities management, power generation and mining infrastructure. He subsequently qualified as a legal practitioner in 2003, admitted to practice in the Supreme Courts of Queensland, NSW and England & Wales, and as a Chartered Management Accountant in 2021. He has also completed the AICD Company Directors Course. He is a Fellow of Engineers Australia, the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, and the Institute of Public Accountants and a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
