Deborah has worked for over 30 years in business administration and financial roles in government and commercial organisations, large and small. She has developed considerable experience and knowledge in most facets of business, a keen eye for identifying potential issues and risks and advanced skills to establish controls to reduce the risk and improve processes.
Previously, Deborah was responsible for the management of external audits for statutory financial requirements for a number of Local Councils and for not for profit organisations such as Registered Clubs, Child Care Organisations, Nursing Homes, Private Schools and a variety of small audits as well as a for profit organisations.
Over the last 10 years, Deborah has been responsible for a number of internal audits for local councils, private companies and state government organisations.
She currently sits on a number Council Audit Risk and Improvement Committees and holds board positions with private companies.
Deborah holds a Bachelor of Commerce majors in Financial Accounting, Management accounting and Business Law. Also Masters in Commerce (Professional Accounting) and Masters in Commercial Law. Her Certifications and Memberships include CPA - Professional program, Institute of Internal Auditors-Australia, CRMA, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE4110), CPA Australia and The Institute of Internal Auditors
