Mary-Jane is a highly skilled professional with over 30 years’ experience working at senior levels across various investigative environments, primarily in the Commonwealth Public Service. These include fraud, compliance, conduct, bullying and harassment, performance management, process reviews and program integrity investigations.
She has conducted and led investigations on complex fraud matters, managed people services and corporate operations for a team of over 1,000 staff, designed and delivered national training programs for sensitive and complex departmental operational areas to guide and embed performance and cultural reform.
Her expertise includes developing professional ethics, proper conduct, workplace culture and performance in large service delivery organisations including working with clients in a restrictive environment or who are vulnerable.
She is the former Regional Director (NSW & ACT) of the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (now Department of Home Affairs) and former head of the Commonwealth regulatory body, Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority.
