Robert has 17+ years of experience across diverse industries in the private and public (federal, state, and local government) sectors, in various capacities as Internal Auditor, Senior Internal Auditor, and Head of Internal Audit. He has held roles in allied disciplines such as accounting, taxation, performance assurance, risk management, controls, investigations, and compliance. He has extensive experience performing and managing financial, operational, compliance, and performance audits, and advisory work.
Robert has Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Juris Doctor (Syd) qualifications. He is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and has Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety, and Accreditation in Internal Audit Quality Assessment and Validation. In 2015, Robert has received the John Blackman Award and the William S. Smith Certificate of Honors for outstanding performance on the CIA examinations in Australia and globally, respectively.
