Allan is a highly skilled investigator with extensive experience working across a variety of investigative environments, in the public and private sectors of the UK and Australia. This includes local government, health, legal services, insurance and banking. His experience conducting or managing investigations spans a range of matters, from code of conduct breaches, workplace bullying, and harassment, to fraud, corruption and maladministration.
Allan holds a Master of Science in Counter Fraud and Corruption Studies and a PhD for his thesis which explored perceptions and experiences of corruption in NSW local government. He is an executive member of the Australian Institute of Professional Investigators (AIPI) and has presented at a variety of industry forums as a means of contributing to the advancement of the profession.
